Covid 19 New Update Nepal: Corona virus (Covid-19) infection has been confirmed in one hundred forty-four people in the last 24 hours.
According to Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, the number of infected people has reached 16,945.
On Monday, 5,856 people were tested for corona. The highest number of 41 people was found in Surkhet on Monday. 27 in Dhanusha, 11 in Kailali, 9 in Rautahat, 8 in Kapilvastu, 5 in Lalitpur, 4/4 in Jhapa and Mahottari, 3 in Kathmandu, 2 in Baglung, 2 in Myagdi, 2 in Tanahu, 2 in Bardiya, 2 in Dang, 2 in Rukum West, 2/2 in Dailekh, Bajhang, and Baitadi people have been found infected.
In Morang, Sunsari, Saptari, Bhaktapur, Kavre, Dolakha, Sindhuli, Makwanpur, Parbat, Syangja, Kapilvastu, Banke, Jajarkot and Achham, 1/1 person has been found infected.
According to the ministry, tests conducted in 25 different laboratories showed corona positive in 144 people. A spokesperson of the ministry, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, said that the PCR test of 5,846 people was found positive in 144 people on Monday.
At present, 183 infected people in Province No. 1, 1,872 in Province No. 2 and 458 in Bagmati are being treated in isolation of various hospitals. Similarly, 498 people are being treated in Gandaki, 729 in Province No. 5, 361 in Karnali, and 2,512 in Far-Western.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population said in a regular media briefing on Monday. Jageshwar Gautam said that 1,705 people were cured and discharged in the same period.
So far, there are 10,294 people to be discharged. The recovery rate is 60.7 percent, the ministry said. According to the ministry, there are currently 6,613 in isolation and 23,470 in quarantine.
So far, no one has died from Corona infection in Province 1. According to the ministry, a total of 38 people have been killed, including four in Province 2, nine in Bagmati, five in Gandaki, 10 in Province 5, four in Karnali and six in Far Western Province.
