Another 16 people were confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus in Nepal on Sunday. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 15 people from Nepalgunj and one person from Parsa were confirmed as corona in today’s test.

Covid-19 Cases Reached To 75 In Nepal

Fifteen people in contact with the 60-year-old Corona virus (Covid-19) found three days ago have been confirmed infected.

As corona was confirmed in 9 people of Nepalgunj and 1 person of Parsa on Sunday afternoon, now corona is also positive in 6 more people of Nepalgunj. According to Dr. Sameer Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry, corona has been confirmed in 16, 21 and 34 year old men and 40, 55 and 60 year old women of Nepalgunj-8. Preparations are being made to take them to the hospital.

At a regular press conference of the Ministry of Health on Sunday afternoon, the spokesperson of the Ministry, Dr. Vikas Devkota had informed that five men and four women had tested positive for corona in Nepalgunj of Banke district. Along with this, 15 people have tested positive for Carona in Nepalgunj on the same day. With the addition of new infections, the number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 75. 16 have recovered.

Ministry spokesperson Dr Vikas Devkota said that one of the nine people from Nepalgunj who was confirmed as Corona this afternoon was a seven-year-old child. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. He is the youngest person to have been infected with corona in Nepal so far.

Covid-19 Cases Reached To 75 In Nepal

A team of health workers has reached the affected area to bring the nine infected people to Corona Hospital in Nepalgunj today. According to Dr. Devkota, 31 people are being treated in Biratnagar, nine in Birgunj, including one new patient found today, and 44 each in Rupandehi, Bharatpur, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi.

According to the ministry, 13,414 samples have been tested by PCR method and 59,689 samples by RDT method so far. In the last 24 hours, samples of 1,879 people have been tested. According to spokesperson Devkota, more than 21,900 are currently in quarantine. 77 people are being treated in isolation, 4 in the valley and 73 outside.
